Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required
• Master’s degree in related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Experience in payroll processing preferred
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and FERC Accounting
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and month-end close to ensure GAAP compliance
• Supervise accounting staff and manage AP and payroll processes
• Prepare financial statements and monitor internal controls
• Lead audits, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Develop and manage a Career Development Plan (CDP) with supervisor
