Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years in a senior accounting role, ideally Construction/Real Estate.
- Experience leading month-end close and budgeting processes.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Ability to deliver financial insights and KPI reporting.
- Experience improving accounting processes and systems.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder collaboration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools.
- It’s a strategic, collaborative role with growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review financial reports for integrity and accuracy.
- Direct annual budget process with departments.
- Provide insights into performance, risks, opportunities.
- Develop and track KPIs to measure financial/operational performance.
- Offer strategic support to operations, HR, Legal, IT and others.
- Drive continuous accounting process improvements and documentation.
- Collaborate with operations and asset management to align goals.
- Use real estate and construction knowledge for financial planning.
