Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience; revenue recognition in residential construction preferred.
• CPA certification or public accounting experience a plus, though not required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and construction accounting including job costing and percentage of completion.
• Experience with construction/homebuilding accounting software such as Sage, Timberline, Newstar, JD Edwards; multi-platform experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with large datasets, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP in a construction setting.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger Management & Reconciliation: post entries, accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and cash transactions.
• Review and analyze general ledger accounts, resolve discrepancies, maintain ledger integrity.
