Job Description: The Sr Manager will work as part of a highly strategic team supporting DaVita’s inpatient dialysis patients and field operations, focusing on growth, profitability, and operational excellence for the Hospital Services Group nationwide. Responsibilities include overseeing financial modeling for business development, supporting financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and other strategic initiatives. The Sr Manager will be based at DaVita’s headquarters in Denver, CO.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Modeling & Contracting

• Ownership of pro forma pricing models for hospital contracts, with a focus on continuous improvement for accuracy and usability.
• Lead financial modeling for national hospital system negotiations and collaborate with the Sr. Director of Account Management to drive growth.
• Work with field leaders to review and approve local pricing proposals.
• Act as finance liaison to DaVita’s compliance department, overseeing projects like tracking hospital account health and improving contract review processes.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Prepare analyses of financial results, variances, and forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Assist with annual budgeting, including setting guidance and refining forecast models.
• Partner with Accounting & Revenue Operations to monitor balances, contractual KPIs, and P&L adjustments.

Data Analytics & Business Initiatives

• Enhance reporting and analytics capabilities, focusing on efficiency improvements.
• Analyze operational data to assess business performance.
• Collaborate on strategy-related projects with the Sr. Director of Strategy & Operations.
• Support field teams with ad hoc analyses and questions.
• Potentially manage one or more team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in quantitative disciplines.
• 4+ years in finance, consulting, or relevant analytics roles.
• Extensive experience with financial modeling and complex Excel files.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Oracle Essbase/SmartView, Anaplan, SQL, and Tableau is a plus.

Salary Range:
