Job summary

RGP is seeking an experienced Accounting Controller to lead our accounting operations and ensure the integrity of financial reporting in Detroit. The role oversees month-end close, financial statement preparation, internal controls, compliance and daily accounting activities while partnering with leadership to support business objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA designation strongly preferred.
8+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership exposure.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of the accounting function including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll accounting and financial reporting.
Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for timely, accurate results.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and policies.
