Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst in Houston to broaden expertise beyond traditional financial reporting. The role offers exposure to FP&A, financial modeling, business partnering, and acquisitions, with high visibility and collaboration with leadership.

You will support month-end close, intercompany activities, budgeting, and variance analysis while driving process improvements and reporting automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Experience with financial reporting, FP&A, and general ledger accounting.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience in a multi-entity environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exposure to acquisitions, consolidations, and intercompany accounting preferred.
• Industry experience in energy, industrial, manufacturing, or distribution preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and process improvement initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Analyze financial performance trends and key business metrics
• Manage intercompany accounting activities across multiple entities
• Support acquisition due diligence and integration-related initiatives
• Partner with operational leaders to drive financial and process improvements
• Participate in system enhancements, reporting automation, and special projects
