TalentWell is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst in Houston, hybrid role, to transform financial and operational data into actionable insights for leadership.

You will own budgeting and forecasting, develop driver-based models, and deliver executive-level reporting, partnering with the CFO, Controller, and pricing/product teams. The right candidate has 4–7+ years in FP&A and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 4–7+ years in FP&A or related finance roles.
• Experience owning a budget or forecasting process.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Strong three-statement modeling, driver-based forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Excellent communication and the ability to tell a business story.
• Curiosity, sound judgment, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving.

Responsabilités

• Own the annual budget and rolling forecasts for revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, and cash.
• Develop analyses that uncover drivers and inform decisions.
• Partner with Pricing & Product Analysis on pricing strategy and profitability.
• Build driver-based models, three-statement models, and scenario analyses.
• Translate complex financial information into concise narratives for executive audiences.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial packages and covenant calculations.
• Support M&A, financing, ESOP, and capital structure initiatives.
• Identify and implement reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and controls improvements.
