Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Senior Accountant GPO to execute and optimize core financial, transactional, and analytical activities in a shared services environment. You will partner with business units and corporate finance to drive data-driven decision-making and improve service delivery.

The role requires strong PBS knowledge, ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/S4HANA), and a focus on process improvement, accuracy, and control compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance operations, shared services, or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of PBS processes and month-end close cycles.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, S/4HANA).

Responsibilities

• Perform and support core PBS processes while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and KPIs alignment.
• Review and analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives including automation and finance transformation.
• Support system implementations, ERP upgrades, process redesign, and migration into PBS.
• Ensure SOX controls, internal policies, and audit documentation compliance.
• Serve as a key point of contact for business partners and build strong internal relationships.
• Collaborate with IT, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury to support integrated processes.
• Prepare, analyze, and present performance metrics, dashboards, and variance analyses.
