Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a Senior Accountant GPO to deliver scalable finance and operational services in a shared services setup. The role focuses on core PBS processes, accuracy in transactional activities, and driving process improvements across the organization.

The position partners with corporate finance and business units to enhance service delivery, ensure SOX compliance, and provide data-driven insights using Excel, Power BI, and ERP reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance operations, shared services, or public accounting.
• Strong PBS process understanding and month-end close experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, S/4HANA).
• Analytical thinking with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support core PBS processes with accuracy, timeliness, and KPI alignment.
• Review and analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and variances.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement, including automation and process standardization.
• Support system implementations, ERP upgrades, and migration of activities into PBS.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal policies; maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with IT, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury to improve service delivery.
