Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services in Ventura, CA seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting functions including AP, AR, fixed assets and the general ledger. You will lead the accounting team to ensure accuracy, maintain strong internal controls, and ensure adherence to established processes.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of accounting experience, a BA in accounting or related field, and solid GAAP/SOX knowledge. Government contracts experience and AP/AR exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting/financial experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations.
• Experience with Government Contracts preferred.
• Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and General Ledger accounting.
• Manage the accounting team to ensure accuracy in accounting operations.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for all accounting functions , including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and General Ledger accounting. The Accounting Manager will manage the accounting team to ensure accuracy in accounting operations, adherence to accounting processes and maintaining a strong internal control environment.

• Must be a US Person
• Broad general knowledge of all accounting/financial functions
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
• Minimum of 5 years of previous accounting/financial experience
• Supervisory Experience required
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP) and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) regulations
• Experience with Government Contracts preferred
• Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable preferred
