Job summary

Advanced Facility Solutions, part of Persona Services Group, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Fairfield team. This hands-on role owns the month-end close, collaborates with the Assistant Controller, and helps standardize processes across entities.

• 4-5 years of accounting experience in a multi-entity environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop or similar ERP; project-based accounting is a plus.
• Independent work style with ability to meet deadlines and flag issues.
• Strong attention to detail and clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process for Advanced Facility Solutions including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and post recurring journal entries across payroll, fixed assets, prepaids, commissions, and intercompany allocations.
• Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules each period.
• Analyze variances and provide explanations for management reporting.
• Contribute to the monthly financial reporting package for management review.
• Support monthly WIP accruals with data exports and analysis.
• Assist with annual audit preparation by pulling documentation and schedules.
• Collaborate with the Sr. Accountant at Persona Signs, LLC to standardize close processes.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Advanced Facility Solutions is a leading facility services company operating as part of Persona Services Group — a growing, PE-backed multi-entity organization. We are building a high-performing, integrated accounting team and are looking for a Senior Accountant to join us in Fairfield.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You'll execute the month-end close for Triangle, work directly with the Assistant Controller, and collaborate with the Senior Accountant at our Persona Signs, LLC entity to standardize processes across the organization. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the month-end close process for Advanced Facility Solutions including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Prepare and post recurring journal entries across payroll, fixed assets, prepaids, commissions, and intercompany allocations
• Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules each period
• Analyze variances and provide clear explanations to support management reporting
• Contribute to the monthly financial reporting package for management review
• Support the monthly WIP accrual process through timely data exports and analysis
• Assist with annual audit preparation by pulling supporting documentation and schedules
• Partner with the Sr. Accountant at our Persona Signs, LLC entity to standardize close processes and reconciliation formats across both entities

Requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 4-5 years of accounting experience in a multi-entity, manufacturing, or construction environment preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop or similar ERP; project-based accounting experience a plus
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and flag issues proactively
• Strong attention to detail and clear written communication skills
