Job summary

HawkEye 360 is seeking a Senior Accountant to contribute to SEC filings, consolidated financial statements, and technical accounting documentation. The role ensures accuracy and integrity of reporting under U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX for HawkEye 360, a newly public company.

Key responsibilities include external reporting, technical accounting, consolidation, and SOX controls. CPA-eligible candidates with 3+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or CPA-eligible.
• 3+ years accounting/financial reporting experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• External Financial Reporting: prepare sections of 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K; assist with disclosures; coordinate cross-functional data; ensure single-source data; support audits.
• Technical Accounting: research technical matters; draft memos; implement new standards and SEC changes.
• Consolidation & Intercompany: prepare consolidation entries and reconciliations.
• Policy & Controls: support SOX compliance; identify process improvements.
