Job summary

HawkEye 360 seeks a Manager of External Financial Reporting to oversee SEC filings, external reporting, and consolidation processes. The role ensures accuracy of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures while supporting SOX controls and auditor inquiries.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate disclosures, and drive consistency across reporting. 6+ years of SEC experience and CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required with at least 6+ years in accounting and SEC reporting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, consolidations, and SOX compliance.
• Experience with financial statement prep, consolidations, and XBRL tagging.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate, and review SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and related disclosures.
• Support consolidation activities and intercompany eliminations and adjustments.
• Assist with technical accounting memos and new accounting standards implementation.
• Support SOX controls, process improvements, and interaction with auditors.
