Job summary

HawkEye 360 seeks a Corporate Controller to lead operational accounting, government contracting, and close processes in a multi-location environment (Herndon, VA and Dallas, TX).

You will drive SEC reporting readiness, internal controls, and ERP modernization, including Deltek Costpoint upgrades, while partnering with executive leadership to guide strategic initiatives and financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Active CPA license strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Experience in defense, national security, government contracting, aerospace or technology sectors.
• Public company experience preferred.
• Big 4 or national public accounting firm auditing publicly traded companies.
• Experience implementing or optimizing ERP systems, especially Deltek Costpoint.
• High integrity and judgment in a regulated environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational accounting, month-end close, and reconciliations.
• Oversee A/P, billing, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate quarterly SEC reporting and external audits.
• Drive automation, standardization, and internal controls across accounting ops.
• Lead and develop a multi-location accounting team (Herndon, VA and Dallas, TX).
