Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant in Estero, FL for a PE-backed technology company building property management software. The role owns key parts of month-end close, revenue accounting, and compliance for a fast-growing SaaS business.

You’ll work on ASC 606 revenue recognition and coordinate audits with the finance team. The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience using NetSuite.

Qualifications

• Must-have GAAP knowledge and strong month-end close experience.
• Experience preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Hands-on ASC 606 revenue recognition experience and audits.

Responsibilities

• Drive month-end close procedures, prepare reconciliations, and analyze variances.
• Support preparation of financial reporting packages for leadership and stakeholders.
• Maintain revenue recognition schedules under ASC 606 and ensure accurate revenue reporting.
• Reconcile billing data to our ERP system and review customer contracts for revenue treatment.
• Coordinate multi-state sales tax filings and maintain audit readiness.
• Prepare audit schedules and support external audits as needed.
• Draft accounting policies and strengthen internal controls as we scale.
• Assist with internal financial analyses to inform business decisions.
