JD Power is seeking a high-performing Senior Accountant to join our finance organization. This role blends core accounting with senior-level duties, offering ownership of complex areas and mentoring opportunities.

The position supports multi-entity, multi-currency environments and requires strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency. The role is remote with coverage for US/Canada regions, reporting to Accounting Manager.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate accounting or public accounting environment.
• Experience in a multi-entity and multi-currency environment.
• NetSuite (or similar ERP) experience.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting or other capitalized assets.
• Experience with month-end close activities including accruals, prepaid expenses, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting fundamentals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Mansioni

• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations for balance sheet areas including capitalized assets.
• Prepare monthly accruals across multiple cost centers.
• Serve as primary accounting resource for one or more foreign subsidiaries with month-end close per U.S. GAAP.
• Review financial information for variance analysis and accuracy.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities as needed.
• Support external audits and documentation requests.
• Partner with leadership on technical accounting matters and ad hoc projects.
