Job summary

LevelUp is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our US client's accounting team on a 6-month contract through year-end close and audit season. You will own accruals, help with month-end and year-end close, and prepare audit schedules and financial statements with meticulous attention to accuracy.

The role requires strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), experience with US GAAP, and the ability to work US business hours. Remote work from the Philippines is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience at a senior level or in external audit.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and experience supporting US-based companies.
• Hands-on experience owning accruals and supporting month-end and year-end close.
• Experience preparing audit support and financial statements with accuracy.
• Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly accruals process, reviewing POs and contracts in Coupa.
• Support month-end and year-end close, ensuring accurate books.
• Prepare interim and year-end audit support with documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, ensuring numbers tie out.
• Prepare annual stock option roll forward using Carta data.
• Use prior-year work papers to investigate and replicate balances.
• Support revenue-related work as needed.
