Job summary

Datavant is seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to handle hands-on accounting, payments processing, and billing for a dedicated business site within the corporate group. You’ll manage day-to-day finance tasks in a fast-paced environment and drive process efficiency with modern digital tools.

You will work across responsibilities from reconciliations to month-end close, with opportunities to optimize workflows and collaborate with the finance team. A remote setup is supported.

Qualifications

• Three years of accounting/finance experience.
• Experience with NetSuite or QuickBooks is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Clear verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Daily Accounting & Bank Reconciliations: Perform daily accounting entries, balance account verifications, and conduct bank reconciliations.
• Payments & Cash Flow: Execute outgoing vendor/supplier payments, manage payment schedules, and verify expense workflows.
• Billing: Manage customer invoicing, monitor receivables, track outstanding balances, and support collections efforts.
• Other Accounting & Reporting: Assist month-end close and provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis.
• Contract & Data Management: Enter and maintain customer contracts, billing terms, and financial data.
• Multi-Platform Management: Use and navigate modern software daily to streamline workflows.
