Job summary

Datavant is seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this versatile role you will perform hands-on accounting, payments processing and billing for a dedicated business site within our corporate group, driving efficiency in a fast-paced, modern technology environment.

You will manage daily entries, reconciliations, vendor payments, invoicing and month-end close, collaborating with the Controller and finance teammates.

Qualifications

• Three years of accounting/finance experience at minimum.
• Experience with NetSuite and/or QuickBooks preferred.
• Comfortable operating across multiple platforms and adopting AI tools to optimize workflows.
• Strong initiative with the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• High accuracy under tight deadlines and clear written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting entries and bank reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy.
• Process vendor payments, manage cash flow, and verify expense workflows.
• Oversee customer invoicing, monitor receivables, and support collections.
• Assist month-end close, generate ad hoc reports, and support financial analysis.
• Maintain accurate contracts, billing terms, and data in internal systems.
• Utilize modern software platforms daily to streamline workflows.
