Job summary

Stabbert Maritime, a family-owned company with a 50-year legacy, is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to support our multi-entity accounting operations. You will maintain general ledger integrity, assist month-end close, and back up payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable as needed.

This is a working role, not a management position, requiring solid GAAP knowledge and independent judgment. Remote work is available with a preference for 4 days per month in Ballard, WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• CPA credentials strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger integrity and post journal entries.
• Support month-end close and intercompany reconciliations.
• Back-up payroll, AR, and AP as needed.
• Develop process improvements to increase efficiencies.
