Job summary

The role requires a CPA or equivalent, 4+ years of accounting experience (2+ in public company), and proficiency with NetSuite and ERP systems. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential as you help prepare footnotes and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, with 2+ years in a public company.
• Experience in life sciences a plus; Big 4 or national firm experience preferred.
• Proficient with NetSuite and ERP systems; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly and annual close processes.
• Post recurring monthly journal entries.
• Review GL postings for accurate recording.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and updates.
• Prepare the balance sheet, P&L, and related financial reports.
• Provide detailed analysis for month-end close.
• Support internal controls and business processes.
• Assist in 10-K and 10-Q filings and drafting footnotes.
• Contribute to financial statement audits and compliance with US GAAP.
• Perform technical accounting research and policy documentation.
• Assist internal control systems to safeguard assets.
• Handle special projects as required.
