Scholar Rock is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the monthly close, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure scalable accounting processes as the business grows.

The role focuses on journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules across cash, prepaid expenses, accruals, G&A, fixed assets, and other GL accounts, while collaborating with the Accounting team for internal and external reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• CPA or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries and reconciliations.
• SOX controls/audit support exposure preferred.
• Public company experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations for GL accounts.
• Support monthly/quarterly close processes and internal reporting.
• Assist with internal/external audits and SOX compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for accounting entries and analysis.
• Develop process documentation and drive cross-functional improvements.
• Take on ad-hoc finance projects as needed.
