Job summary

Foster McKay is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting in Morris County, NJ to lead month-end close, balance sheet analyses, and US GAAP reporting. This hands-on role owns key accruals, SOX controls, and collaborates with Clinical Operations, FP&A, IT, and the SEC Reporting team under the Sr.

Director of Accounting. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, public company exposure, CPA preferred, and strong NetSuite/FloQast/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with close responsibilities.
• Public company accounting experience, US GAAP, SOX controls.
• Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience, including R&D accrual accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close activities and balance sheet analyses.
• Own complex accruals (clinical trials, R&D) and prepaids; review staff work.
• Support US GAAP consolidation and intercompany accounting; coordinate with auditors.
