Job summary

HomeTown Services is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage full-cycle accounting across multiple Gulf Coast locations. The role involves close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and data consolidation, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

The candidate should have a strong grasp of GAAP, reliable communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a centralized environment.
• Experience in a multi-location environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for assigned locations.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries for multiple locations.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze income statements and balance sheets for accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate with location teams to collect and verify data for consolidation.
