Job summary

Search Services is seeking a hands-on Regional Accountant in Northwest Houston, TX to manage full-cycle accounting for multiple operating companies. This in-office role offers ownership of journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes with GAAP adherence.

You\'ll collaborate with operations and finance to prepare reports, budgets, and forecasts, supporting audits while developing a deeper understanding of the business drivers across entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2–6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end close.
• Experience managing accounting responsibilities for multiple companies.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills; Sage Intacct is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle accounting and close for multiple companies.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Perform reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
• Coordinate with FP&A and operations.
