Job summary

HomeTown Services is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full-cycle accounting for multiple Gulf Coast locations. You will oversee month-end and year-end closes, prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and analyze financial statements while ensuring GAAP compliance.

Collaboration with location teams and support for audits are essential. The role requires 3+ years of centralized accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and proficiency in Sage Intacct

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required or equivalent.
• CPA or CMA designation is preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a centralized environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for multiple locations.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze financial statements.
• Collaborate with location teams to consolidate data for centralized accounts.
• Support audits with accurate and timely information.
