Specialty1 Partners in Houston, TX seeks a Sr. Accountant to manage complex accounting, GAAP compliance, and close processes across multiple entities.

You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and consolidated statements, while partnering with finance, operations, and clinical teams to drive accuracy and efficiency. CPA track encouraged; ERP experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CPA track preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, healthcare or multi-entity preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, reporting, and internal controls.
• ERP/accounting software experience (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, MS Dynamics).
• Proficiency in Excel with financial modeling.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for multiple entities.
• Support month, quarter, and year-end close processes with accuracy.
• Own balance sheet accounts, investigate reconciling items, resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze data, provide management insights on trends and variances.
• Assist in intercompany transactions, consolidations, and statements.
• Maintain fixed assets, depreciation, and ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Support audits with schedules and auditor inquiries; ensure internal controls.
• Collaborate with AP/AR/Payroll/FP&A and operations to ensure data consistency.
