Job summary

gpac is seeking a Senior Accountant in Orem, UT to support accounting operations and financial reporting across complex portfolios and multiple entities. The role requires strong GAAP knowledge and experience with consolidations in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee GL close processes, prepare financial statements, and collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and audits. CPA preferred; Excel and ERP proficiency essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Experience managing multiple entities and consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and complex accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger activities, month-end and year-end close, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage accounting activities across investment portfolios and multiple entities.
• Monitor investment performance, capital activity, asset valuations, and cash flow.
• Lead multi-entity consolidations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Develop and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with executive leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
• Mentor accounting team members and support ongoing development.
