Wasatch Equity Partners is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in Utah. The role involves supporting financial reporting, accounting operations, and close processes across multiple entities.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, strong accounting fundamentals, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Excel proficiency and effective communication are essential for success.

• Strong accounting fundamentals and financial reporting knowledge.
• Ability to learn new accounting systems and adapt to multiple entities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain general ledgers and supporting documentation.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Support audits and financial statement preparation.
• Research discrepancies and develop practical solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contacts to resolve issues.
• Provide guidance to junior staff as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting accuracy.
• Own assigned responsibilities and contribute to team goals.
