Job summary

JPJ Staffing in Fresno, CA is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Accounting Department. This role focuses on preparing accurate financial statements, maintaining fixed asset schedules, and supporting multi-entity reporting.

Under the Controller’s supervision, you will assist with year-end workpapers and ensure compliance with GAAP while meeting tight deadlines. A friendly, team-oriented environment offers growth and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Experience in CPA firms preferred.
• 3–5 years of increasing responsibilities in accounting.
• Financial reporting experience required.
• Solid understanding of general accounting concepts.
• Knowledge in GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue complete, accurate financial statements.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and aged receivable/payable reports.
• Assist in multi-entity consolidated reporting and year-end tax workpapers.
• Handle confidential information with integrity.
• Meet deadlines and support process improvements.
