Job summary

Labor One Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the accounting operations of a multi-entity organization in industrial staffing, real estate rentals, and development. This role requires accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across entities.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, and strong general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting structures.
• Strong general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities across multiple entities (AP/AR, cash receipts, disbursements).
• Prepare and post journal entries, maintain ledgers, month-end close support.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support intercompany transactions, allocations, and eliminations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and schedules.
• Maintain fixed-asset records and project-cost tracking for real estate.
• Ensure compliance with policies, controls, and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external parties to resolve issues.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties in a high-volume setting.
