Job summary

Winter Services, LLC is hiring a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses. The role partners with the Controller and VP of Finance to drive improvements and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years in accounting or finance, strong Excel skills, and experience with multi-entity organizations and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred). QuickBooks familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 5-7 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with multi-entity organizations and ERP systems; NetSuite preferred.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Account reconciliations: Prepare detailed reconciliations for financial statement accounts, analyze variances and resolve issues.
• Financial reporting: Prepare supporting docs for financial statements and report variances.
• Analytical support: Identify trends, variances, and discrepancies to aid decision-making.
• Accounting oversight: Support daily functions, consolidations, and closing in multiple systems; publish monthly statements and reports.
• Payables: Manage subcontractor payment processes and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Customer oversight: Support AR and collections; manage supplier portals and invoicing processes.
