The Living Company, headquartered in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Senior Accountant to own assigned close tasks across multi-entity projects. You will prepare complex journal entries, perform reconciliations, and support revenue recognition under ASC 606, while mentoring staff and driving closer efficiencies.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of month-end close tasks.
• Strong command of U.S. GAAP, accrual accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and complex journal entries.
• Working knowledge of WIP and revenue recognition (ASC 606).
• Experience in a multi-entity accounting environment, including intercompany transactions.
• Experience preparing audit schedules and supporting external audits.
• Ability to interpret financial data and explain it clearly to non-finance leaders.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Comfort using AI-assisted tools to support analysis, reporting, and process improvement.

Mansioni

• Own assigned monthly close tasks for designated entities and account areas, completing them accurately and on schedule with minimal supervision.
• Prepare and post complex journal entries, including accruals, prepaid amortization, fixed assets, intercompany activity, and period-end adjustments, in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare and maintain WIP schedules and related revenue recognition entries for project-based activity.
• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations; investigate and resolve reconciling items before close sign-off.
• Assist with the quarterly and annual close, including financial statement preparation and year-end adjustments.
• Communicate open items, risks, and accounting policy questions to the Accounting Supervisor promptly.
• Perform first-level review of Staff Accountant journal entries and reconciliations.
• Serve as a technical resource for staff and onboarding of new team members.
• Coordinate with AR/AP and Billing & Collections on cash application and revenue questions.
• Help create and maintain SOPs for assigned close tasks for consistency and auditability.
• Prepare monthly reporting package, variance analyses, and provide account-level detail for management.
• Support cash flow and liquidity reporting, including AR/AP aging and working capital trends.
• Build NetSuite saved searches and reports to improve close efficiency.
• Support M&A integration as needed, including opening balance sheet entries.
• Research and resolve account-level issues with vendors, customers, and cardholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
