Job summary

Imprimis Group in Plano, TX, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing, privately held family office. The role covers multi-entity accounting, monthly close, and accurate financial reporting across a diverse portfolio.

You’ll report to the Chief Financial Officer, support budgeting, and help improve controls and processes while gaining exposure to leadership and strategic projects. Hybrid work after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong General Ledger and month-end close experience.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities.
• Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Process and oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and collections.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis.
• Monitor budget-to-actual performance and identify variances.
• Support annual tax preparation, audits, and outside CPA relationships.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation.
• Review contracts, leases, and financing agreements for accounting implications.
• Administer QuickBooks Online and maintain organized financial records.
• Help improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
