Extera Building Solutions in Walton Hills, OH, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, WIP and revenue recognition, and AIA billing. The role is designed as a development track toward finance leadership and interacts across four finance seats via a CFO-backed structure.

You will gain exposure to M&A activities, private equity dynamics, and cross-entity project accounting while contributing to a scalable, compliant financial process and AI-driven efficiency improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• Four to seven years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ownership of month-end close and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using generative AI tools in accounting work.
• Clear, concise writing and ability to explain accounting to project managers and operators.

Responsabilidades

• Own month-end close and general ledger processes for multiple entities.
• Manage revenue recognition (WIP), AIA billing, and cost accounting.
• Prepare A/R billing, aging reports, and assist with tax filings.
• Support audit readiness with schedules and controls documentation.
• Assist with M&A due diligence, opening balance sheets, and integration planning.
• Pace AI-enabled finance initiatives and build automated processes.
