Job summary

Extera Building Solutions in Walton Hills, OH seeks a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, WIP, and revenue recognition across multiple entities. The role provides exposure to M&A activities and a pathway toward senior finance leadership, reporting to the CFO.

You will own project costing, billing, AR management, and cost accounting, while collaborating with four functional leaders and external auditors. The position includes a growth trajectory within a PE-backed platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
• CPA or active CPA candidate is preferred
• Advanced Excel skills are required
• Strong writing and communication skills are necessary
• Experience with GAAP and month-end close processes is expected

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close and ledger entries for multiple entities
• Support revenue recognition, WIP, and project accounting
• Handle AIA billing and accounts receivable workflows
• Oversee cost accounting and job costing functions
• Support consolidation, reporting, and ad hoc analyses for CFO and leadership
• Assist with M&A due diligence, open balance sheets, and integration tasks
