Job summary

Elastic is hiring a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in the United States. You will support month-end close, perform FX accounting, intercompany transactions, and transfer pricing calculations, while refining processes with automation tools.

You will work across multi-entity ledgers, assist with M&A opening balances, and contribute to SOX controls and disclosures. Strong ERP experience and an AI-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
• ERP power-user experience (NetSuite/SAP/Oracle).
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, indexing, pivoting).
• Experience with FX accounting, intercompany billing, transfer pricing.
• AI/automation mindset to streamline workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close with complex journal entries and FX variance analysis.
• Validate secondary books and consolidate reporting across entities.
• Assist with open balance sheet prep for M&A and integration.
• Maintain COA to support evolving reporting needs.
• Perform MoM/QoQ/YoY financial analysis for leadership.
