Gogo in Broomfield, CO seeks a Senior Accountant to manage complex lease, fixed asset, and ARO accounting for 300+ cell sites. The role supports monthly closes, external audits, and SOX controls in a public company environment.

Requires strong US GAAP/SOX knowledge, hands-on experience with leases and assets, and collaboration with multiple departments to improve processes and ensure accurate records.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance.
• 46+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and SOX internal control frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with lease, fixed asset, and/or ARO accounting in a publicly traded or SOX-controlled environment is a plus.
• CPA license or CPA candidate status is a plus.

Mansioni

• Oversee full-lifecycle lease accounting.
• Maintain and manage the lease management software/system; ensure contracts, amendments, renewals, and terminations are accurately abstracted and processed.
• Prepare lease disclosure schedules for quarterly financials.
• Manage the fixed asset lifecycle: capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairment evaluations, and disposals.
• Review capital expenditure requests (CAPEX) for proper classification and policy compliance.
• Lead annual and periodic physical counts of fixed assets and conduct impairment testing when triggers occur.
• Maintain ARO liability and asset retirement cost schedules.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and journal entries for leases, fixed assets, and AROs.
• Support monthly and year-end close activities and reporting deadlines.
• Serve as liaison for tax, internal and external audits.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
