Job summary

Gogo is seeking an Accounting Manager in Broomfield, CO to lead accounting operations and the monthly and year-end close across domestic and international entities. You will supervise leases, fixed assets, payroll, equity compensation, debt, intercompany and other transactions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S.

GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX controls. You will review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and provide guidance to the accounting team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to close activities.
• Experience reviewing work of others or leading month-end close.
• Knowledge of SOX controls and U.S. GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned month-end and year-end close activities and team deliverables.
• Oversee leases, fixed assets, payroll, debt, intercompany and other transactions.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for complex accounting areas.
