LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking Senior Accountants and Accounting Leads for a growing Houston-based organization. This role offers ownership of key accounting areas and a path to leadership, mentoring peers, and improving processes.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong month-end close skills, and a solid GAAP foundation. Collaboration with operational and corporate teams is key to delivering accurate financials and supporting audits.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, and GAAP standards is expected.

Mansioni

• Take ownership of key areas of the monthly accounting cycle and help drive the close process forward.
• Review financial activity and investigate unusual trends, discrepancies, or variances.
• Prepare and review reconciliations, journal entries, and other accounting support.
• Help ensure financial information is complete, accurate, and delivered on time.
• Work closely with operational and corporate teams to understand the numbers behind the business.
• Assist with financial reporting and provide analysis for leadership decisions.
• Support external audit requests and maintain strong accounting documentation.
• Identify inefficient or manual processes and help create more scalable accounting procedures.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to less-experienced accounting professionals.
• Take on increasing leadership responsibility as you grow into the position.
