Job summary

Air Methods is seeking a Sr. Accountant II to lead monthly financial reporting, MD&A, and GAAP external statements across the accounting function.

You will partner with operations, supply chain, fleet management, AP, Treasury, and external auditors to deliver timely, accurate reporting and drive process improvements. The role requires a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, 7+ years' experience, CPA certification, and proficiency with cash flow statements, GAAP reporting, and aviation industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; 7+ years' related experience.

• CPA license required.
• Experience with External GAAP-compliant financial statements, footnotes and disclosures.
• Experience in aviation industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial statements and cash flow statements.
• Prepare quarterly MD&A and annual GAAP financial statements with footnotes.
• Maintain controls to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
• Drive improvements in reporting processes across accounting functions.
• Assist with policy and process documentation.
