Firefly Aerospace is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the general ledger close, U.S. GAAP reporting, and internal controls in a fast-paced space tech environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information and timely disclosures, with exposure to audit support and technical accounting matters. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a public company, manufacturing, or

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in a publicly traded company, manufacturing, or public accounting firm desired.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in timely, accurate US GAAP financial statements and disclosures.
• Ensure internal control over financial reporting compliance; assist testing/remediation.
• Research and document technical accounting issues; ensure policy application.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules and documentation.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and participate in special projects.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Operations, and Legal to provide accurate financial information.
