Job summary

Absolute-Aviation-Services seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage accurate monthly and annual closing, reconcile general ledger activity, and support internal reporting. You will oversee journal entries, prepare financial statements for management, and help maintain SOX controls at multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting with 5+ years of experience; CPA is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience

Responsibilities

• Month-end and year-end closing procedures; prepare/review journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for management and corporate reviews
• Develop and document accounting systems and controls
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting (SOX)
• Prepare budgets and variance analyses comparing costs to actuals
• Assist with procedures manuals and process improvements
• May supervise and mentor junior accountants
• Perform other duties as assigned
