IEM is seeking a Full-Time Senior Accountant to support corporate accounting and financial reporting. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, analyze financial statements, and develop internal reporting packages, partnering with IT and stakeholders.

You will help implement accounting changes related to FASB updates, support external audits, and lead portions of the monthly close. Qualified candidates bring 2–5 years of GAAP experience and strong analytical skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience with knowledge of U.S. GAAP, month-end close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation or analysis.
• Public accounting or external audit support experience.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial results, identify trends, and explain drivers.
• Foundational understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work from a home or personal office and from the NC headquarters 1-3 days a week as needed.

Mansioni

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and recurring adjustments.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Analyze income statements, balance sheets, and provide variance analyses and explanations.
• Prepare internal financial statements and management reporting packages.
• Analyze overhead, indirect rates, and shared service costs (G&A, fringe, allocations).
• Collaborate with IT and internal stakeholders to enhance reporting tools and data integrity.
