Job summary

The Senior Accountant at EIS Legacy oversees GAAP-compliant financial reporting and month-end close duties, partnering with the Accounting Manager and Corporate Controller in Atlanta, GA. You will analyze reconciliations, prepare reports, and support accounts payable/receivable processes while ensuring internal controls.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5+ years of full-cycle experience, SAP experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting required.
• 5+ years full-cycle accounting experience.
• SAP experience required.
• CPA candidate with at least one section passed preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger in compliance with GAAP and policies.
• Perform and review month-end close activities with well-documented entries.
• Prepare reconciliations and analyze variances.
• Generate financial reports and provide insights to management.
• Support AP, AR, and other accounting functions.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies and strengthen internal controls.
• Document and improve accounting procedures for efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate reporting.
