Job summary

NextEdge is seeking an Accountant II to independently support core accounting activities, including journal entries, GL and bank reconciliations, and portions of month-end close. You will help strengthen internal controls, financial reporting, and processes while collaborating with accounting leadership.

Ideal candidates hold a BA in accounting with 4+ years in audit or corporate accounting, and CPA track is a plus. Hybrid work option may be available in a general office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
• 4+ years of experience in audit or corporate accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain GL.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations and balance-sheet schedules.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, year-end close processes.
