Job summary

OBE in Dallas is seeking a Senior Accountant to maintain the corporate general ledger, oversee banking, prepaid assets, and monthly close under US GAAP. This role supports internal controls and delivers accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field, and excels at analysis, reconciliation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 6–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Public accounting experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries in support of monthly accounting activities.
• Execute month-end close responsibilities and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations to support completeness and accuracy.
• Perform income statement variance analyses comparing actual results to budget and prior-year.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for management.
