Job summary

Staff Financial Group is seeking a Senior Accountant in Dallas, TX to join a growing finance team. You will manage the accounting records, prepare financial reports, and support monthly closings in a busy office environment.

The ideal candidate has 4–7+ years of accounting experience, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• 4–7+ years of accounting experience, CPA preferred.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Help lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Maintain the general ledger and keep financial data accurate
• Review financial results and explain differences to management
• Help with budgeting and forecasting
• Support outside auditors during audits
• Follow U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies
• Manage fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid expenses
• Help improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Support system upgrades or new accounting tools
• Guide and support junior accounting staff

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

CPA license or working toward CPA
