Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Accountant to support Accounts Receivable and General Accounting for a top 3PL logistics client. The role involves managing cash receipts, posting journal entries, and month-end close tasks, with strong emphasis on reconciliations and reporting.

You will operate in a hybrid environment, onsite in Elwood, IL 2–3 days per week, collaborating across teams and ensuring data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Experience using NetSuite for GL, month-end close, reconciliations.
• Experience in AR and general ledger accounting.
• Strong Excel and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Accounts Receivable and cash management activities.
• Post daily cash receipts and remittances; investigate unapplied cash.
• Perform account reconciliations and GL balancing.
• Support month-end and year-end close and reporting.
• Assist audits and provide financial analysis and variance commentary.
• Collaborate with teams and ensure accuracy of financial data.
