Rewards Network is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial records and deliver timely, accurate reporting. The role demands strong analytic, technical, and communication skills, with cross-functional collaboration and mentorship of junior staff.

The position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence three days a week in Chicago (Tue-Thu). A bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3+ years of experience are required, along with advanced MS Excel proficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• Must have at least 3 years' accounting experience.
• Demonstrates strong technical accounting skills and advanced MS Excel knowledge.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy.
• Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to manage high volumes of tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication for internal/external contacts.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, standards and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Perform monthly and fiscal year-end close activities with timely journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, general ledgers, and other documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Own and balance subsidiary accounts, verify postings, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting of future expenditures.
• Support external audits by providing schedules and information for auditors.
• May lead accounts payable processes and ensure proper invoicing.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline finance and accounting operations.
